About

Musicon is a Greek adjective; it means “Musical” - in the neutral gender, that is something that is musical, full of music, devoted to music. As for music (feminine) herself, Mousike (Μουσική), in Greece is not just the art of sounds, but the art of finding meaning / harmony / relationship / order in everything that exists. (Read more on the meaning of music as it starts in ancient Greece).

Musicon respects this meaning of Music, but is oriented rather towards the modern sense of music, as precisely the art of sounds, built-in and expressing relationships / accordances, etc, but not always concentrated to global and metaphysical visions. Musicon means also the connection that we have all of us who are interested in this art, in a word that, interpreted this way, combines the Greek “music” with the English “connection”.
