Since BIS destroyed Elisabeth Westenholz’s interpretation of Nielsen’s piano works, I tried with another version. This one does not contain the complete works, but only a selection in just one CD, by the pianist Leif Ove Andsnes. What a dynamic and subtle perfomance! The sound is fair to very good, and the piano pieces included are among the best of Nielsen’s. Here are the contents of the CD:
